Poise Passion: Heritage Stay in Gujarat - Champaner Heritage Resort Review

If you love the vintage and heritage places of India, then staying a resort which makes you feel you arrived in the old time era with the kingdoms than you really need to explore Gujarat. It has all the unexplored beauty of vintage and heritage places. There are places which really need to be seen as a part or heritage in Gujarat.

I would want to add that, for a calm and romantic vacation, couples normally choose beach destinations or hills stations. But you never knew that a heritage and royal destination can bring the most wonderful romantic charm to our vacations. The places of Gujarat, known to be heritage places of India, the Champaner Heritage Resort is one place where you find the luxuries of royalty in a place which is further from the noise pollution and disturbances of the main city in Bhamariya Village, Champaner - Pavagarh Hills. It has been declared as a part of the Places of India Heritage.

Entrance, Orchard and Getway

The resort is surrounded by the Orchard which makes it scenic, it has 16 suites with the Champaner House with about 4 Royal Rooms & Eight Executive Rooms. While the Bhamariya House has 3 Royal Rooms and 1 executive room, I was pleased by the structure of the Bhamariya house and we were given the Royal Suite in Bhamariya house at the Top Most Floor.

Amenities at the Resort

The resort has less connectivity to the nearest town are, but it is still well hosted with butlers to get you anything at the resort. A well multi cuisine restaurant which serves us amazing continental food and also has Indian cuisine.

A beautiful royal swimming pool with pool side chairs gives you a very pleasing relaxed time when you are here. It has a sculpture garden and a water bodies as attracting the scenic views.

You can have a lovely winter vacation stay at this resort, with a foggy morning climate covering the top hills which are visible at a distance from the Bhamaria house room I stayed at. The balcony was the USP of my room, simply loved it no words. A summer vacation to this resort is cherry on the cake too, away from the town and spent a relaxing private time with your partner here. Places to Visit at Champaner:

Champaner is a place which has ancient Mughal Structures of Mahals and Forts. You must see these amazing structures which aren't too far from the resort. You can take the Rikshaw from the resort to Pavagarh and from there the 4x4 vehicles will take you up to the places. Pavagarh temple is one of the most positive places in Gujarat and you can visit this place for your sacred beliefs.

How to Reach:
1. Take the Vadodra - Halol Highway by Road to reach Pavagarh Hills Junction. From there go to the Bhamariya Village (5km approx.)
2. Take the train to Champaner Junction Station which is available daily and reaches there at 7.45am and returns every evening as per schedule. From the station you need to go to the Champaner fort or Pavagarh bus depo and then bhamariya village.

I would rate this Resort a 4 Star out 5. You can go to the place for some alone time with your partner for a romantic weekend or a outing with friends group. Certainly on my list again for a next visit. If you liked this, you will love to read about 10 best Beaches of North Goa.

Travel Tips:
1. Go with Cash in Handy, No Atm at the resort or close to it accept at Halol being 22km away.
2. It's preferred to take your own vehicle to the resort as there is less connectivity.
3. Do include Breakfast in your Accommodation package, you can't find something to eat near by.
4. Carry along some medication and Bugs and mosquito repellent(If required)
